Enjoy reading your articles and found this one very insightful. However, I disagree with your injection of politics in your intro. I too disagree with “the Ukrainian war is a regional issue” position, but the financial accountability deserves both bipartisan attention and support. If Democrats correctly expose Republicans in the manner you’ve theorized, I’d agree with your viewpoint. But they haven’t.
