I am confident that the mainstream media will assess Barak Obama’s 2-term presidency positively by restating simple highlights and ignoring his mistakes and major missed opportunities. Why such cynicism? Because, based on the entirety of his presidency, most media sources would be more accurately described as Obama enthusiasts vs. journalists. As you will read, their consistent lack of single-minded in-depth investigation was very telling. Certainly, there was no shortage of scandalous opportunities during his presidency. I also believe voter distrust and anger with unbalanced media coverage reached a breaking point in this last election cycle. I’m writing because they didn’t. As you’ll see, he gets a very solid failing grade.

Background: Since 1972, I have voted for presidential candidates representing both parties. I didn’t vote for Mr. Obama due his inexperience and socialist leanings. And, his long time associations with Reverend “God damn America” Wright and Weather Underground co-founder Bill Ayers struck me as out-of-character for a presidential candidate. After elected, he impressed me as a disciplined thinker, an excellent family man and very bright. His most exceptional strength is his personal presentation, particularly public speaking.
